Living Aboard A Boat |
I got the Kindle version

So, therefore here is my review.
At a high level, I would say that it is required reading for anyone contemplating living aboard a boat. What I like is that Mark is based in Boston, so I know, he actually lives through real winters!
On the downside, however, I would say that the subtitle of the book "The Definitive Guide for Liveaboards" is overkill, as the book falls far short of that. No fault of the author, but if that was the case, the book would be over 2000 pages instead of the roughly 300 pages it is now.
Overall it is a great introduction if you are "thinking" about living aboard, there are a lot of good tips, but is short on technical details. I loves the "You think that was dumb" kinda of stories...and I am sure I will top many of them!!! The author is actually pretty honest about his own limitations, and instead teaches you from those, which is a great to remember lessons too!
As I said, overall I really enjoyed reading it, but it made me want to get more details. Thanks Mark for this book.
Mark also has a companion web site which is helpful, with videos, spreadsheets and more!
