Thought I'd review a few bars I spent time at. The first one is my favorite local bar. The Green Parrot bar!

Green Parrot Paradise Island |
This nice thing is it is actually on Paradise Island, just outside the Atlantis Resort.
I also want to do a shout-out to Bahamians in general, they are the nicest people. Yes of course, they know where their economy comes from, but they are the best with tourists.
Here's why, it was late at night (well dark), probably 9pm, we were on Paradise Island and decided to go to the Green Parrot bar. Looking at the phone, it didnt look like it was far. So we started heading that way...but could not see it...it is actually a bit difficult to find. Anyways we see Bahamians coming going to a car, so I ask them where it is as we thought we were close...we were. so they instruct us to walk by the police station down the dark alley and turn right at the parking lot. So we did...we were not in the parking lot and still couldnt see it...suddenly a car comes towards us (well its dark), the car lights are blinding us in the lot as no other lights were really on. It turns out it was our Bahamians from earlier that drove a bit later to see if we made it. How nice is that? They indicated where we had to go around the fence to find it! And we did! Love those poeple.Invited them for drinks, but they had to go! Too bad, maybe next time.
Now for the bar, there's pool next to it, and then the tiki bar, and then followed by the view on the river/marina. So right on the waterfront...though not much to see at night than lights! Food and beers were great and inexpensive (well reasonable). Very friendly staff (Thanks Antoine!)
There is another location right in Nassau, which I will review in another post!
Cheers!
