Was away on vacation for the last two weeks. Did not do much boat related, although we did have a "whale" of a time going to see whales in Tadoussac (pun intended). Which I recommend everyone to do.

But, if you remember, we had put an offer a couple of weeks back. This was on an Albin 36, in decent (but not great condition). I guess we put the offer so low that the listing has now been promptly removed. It wasnt so low, only a couple of thousand dollars below the asking price by the broker. I guess he got insulted to not receiving any real offers for that last 9 months.
The decks were completely shot, and the tanks original (and would soon need to be removed and changed), so I am not sure, why he didnt even come back with a counter offer. Anyways, back on the market again.
We are now convinced that instead of trying to buy a cheaper Taiwan Tub, we should go for the real trawlers. So the next steps will to complete the renos on the house and sell it. Being in cash will help us tremendously.
