Like I did originally and shopped for Marinas to estimate my costs, I am now at the point of estimating insurance costs. Always a prudent thing to do before buying a boat. Same as you do before buying a car, you get an insurance quote first...right? Dont you all do that? :-) Guilty too...But, definitely do not want bad surprises here.

First of all, I read
Boat Insurance 101.
So, from this reading, it sound like I would like:
- $2,000,000 liability coverage (as most Marinas seem to want)
- ACV (Actual Cash Value), cheaper if a decent amount is decided
Time to now dial...as most online quotes do not seem to cover the boats I am looking for.
