You like reality TV? How about some sailing reality TV? Non-existent, right?
Well, until I came across a weekly documentary (every Friday) called Untie The Lines from Nike Steiger from Hamburg Germany.
This lady has balls! Yep, thats what I said, most guys would not do a quarter of what she did to get her boat. Watch episode 1 & 2 and you will know what I mean!

She is crazy, fun and sexy...tsst...tsst....she has a boyfriend Dimitri,so hands off!
So, how crazy?
She quit her job, boat a sailboat, a German Reinke Super 10, twin-keel, aluminum hull that had been left for dead it seems. Not only that, the boat was located halfway around the world in Panama. And then she plans to sail around the world! Living the dream!
She says that “White Spots" are "Undiscovered areas on our maps of life!” on her Facebook page.
The videos are simple about 4 mins each, but actually quite well done, good music and montage. Some people complain that she is not using the right sailing terminology: kitchen instead of galley, beds instead of berths, but come on people. This her second language, maybe even third as we also hear her speak Spanish as well. And she speaks English perfectly with tiny brit accent.
This reminds me of a joke...what do you call someone that speaks three languages? Trilingual, right. Two languages? Bilingual, correct. One language? American! ;-)
Back to Nike, she faces every problem one by one, and learns a lot in the process! She does get discouraged, she shows her human side, but then faces each problems head on! Great inspiration for all of us, that give up much earlier.
