Toronto winter boat show

Last night (Thursday), we actually went to the boatshow after work.

At Direct Energy center

While, I have not gone to see this in...hmmm 10 years...already! Call me cheap, I always had a hard time spending money to see things to you can see for free throughout the year. Granted you have to go to each dealer, etc. And in reality, my only interest was (still is mostly) to the sailboat area, which is tiny.

Anyways decided to go for the fun of it. As usual we head over to the sailboat section. Many outrageously expensive boats $200K to $500K, but still beautiful to see.

I was hoping to see Paul and Sheryl Shard, but they were already gone, nobody at their booth.  :-(

On the plus side, we did meet and chatted awhile with Liza Copeland, she and her husband wrote many books. I did read Cruising for Cowards many years ago  It turns out she has many more books, not cheap tho.

I was happy to see the following trawlers on display: Beneteau 34 and the Ranger Tug fleet (27 and 31). Love these boat, would buy a 27 as it would be perfect for us (not to live aboard), but perfect for the loop and more.

Ranger 31 with Fly-bridge

So many boats, so little time!
