Well, first step to sell the house went incredibly well. It was on the market 5 days and is now conditionally sold.

I apologize for the lack of postings, I will be more diligent. The truth is we were so busy getting the house ready to be put on the market, I had a bathroom to finish, the problem is that I am slow and meticulous, so my last two months were pretty much consumed in finishing that bathroom.
I hated the previous bathroom, so in a fit of disgust about 1 year ago, I simply destroyed it. The problem is people do not have my standards...anyways, I thought I would complete it within a month or so. It took me a year to really get back at it, although I was getting all the parts that I wanted along, a new vanity, new cabinets, etc...as they came on sale.
In the end, with this tactic, I spent less than $2000 on a total new refit. It was worth it, and was a big selling point for the house!
