Looking to do an overnight assessment!

As discussed in a previous post, last weekend we visited Marina Quay West in Toronto. When walking around we saw a Bed & Breakfast service called BoatTel (Boat + Hotel) where you can sleep overnight on a boat. We both thought, what a good idea.  I have spent a whole summer on a boat, a Chris Craft 28, but not my wife. What a good idea it would be to try out a weekend getaway in a boat to see how she feels, and sleep.
BoatEl: Quite a big boat

I am not exactly worried about her sleeping well on a boat, its not just the gentle movement that lulls you to sleep, afterall, she puts up quite well with my legendary snoring!

So, back to BoatEl, the prices are pretty steep $250 per night with minimum 2 nights booking. Ouch! Add to the fact that the boat is probably too big to get a real feel of sleeping on a boat, and this is not really a good proposition.

I dont have many readers yet, but let me put this to you. We are willing to rent your boat for the weekend, simply to spend the days and sleep on it. So, if you are looking for a little extra cash, that would work out great, and it would validate how crazy we are?! :-)

We are open to sailboat or trawler...I am currently leaning towards a smallish trawler for us, but not yet decided.

I did contact the Marauder vessel on their blogs, as I would like to make contact with them, no news yet.

Regardless if you or you know anyone that could help us, do feel free to contact-us on our blog contact form.  Thanks!
